The world around me...

Through the use of found objects and elements from human experiences, I explore unconventional tools for painting. Over time, I have used handmade brushes made from sticks, mop heads, and shoe soles. The most transformative tool in my practice, however, has been robot vacuums. I now have three, each with unique wheels, wheel textures, spin brushes, and programming. What began as a simple idea has evolved into a key process in my work.

Other techniques integral to my work include the use of color and the interplay of positive and negative spaces through the application of white. Colors are carefully chosen to convey specific emotions and feelings, while texture adds depth and dimension. I have also taught myself to make handmade papers that seamlessly blend into my pieces, allowing my designs to remain prominent.

These diverse processes not only enhance my creative expression by making me think and respond differently during the process, yet also pushes the boundaries of traditional art, inviting viewers to engage with my work on multiple sensory levels.
