Custom Collection inside Cadillac Building

Located in the heart of Downtown Detroit, this exclusive art collection was created for a private client with aspirations of moving their businesses into the iconic Cadillac Building. The collection consists of twelve unique paintings designed to reflect the vision, values, and vibrant culture of the companies housed within the space.

Drawing inspiration from personal conversations with the client, the workspace, and the corporate culture, each piece was thoughtfully crafted to harmonize with the office’s aesthetic. The color palette was carefully selected to complement the office design, including the flooring and alternating accent walls. The chosen colors—Raw Umber, Titan Bluff, Turquoise, Quinacridone Red, Indian Yellow, Payne’s Grey, Bone Black, White, and Neutral Gray 7/8/10—enhance the space while reflecting the dynamic energy of the businesses.

The artwork itself features a variety of textures, including pumice stone, crackle effects, and layers of acrylic polymer, adding depth and dimension to each painting. Custom canvas sizes were selected to perfectly fit the individual spaces, ensuring that each piece enhances its surroundings. The entire collection was meticulously finished with three layers of semi-gloss satin varnish to protect and preserve the artwork for years to come.
