Allowing yourself to let go of a friendship is a hard place to be and sometimes I wonder what would have happened if I had stayed and fought harder. Would it have been worth the fight?
I approached the canvas in anger, their latest words lingering in my head. I was sad I had been so vulnerable. I was furious. They didn't really know me even though I allowed myself to be wide open, which made it worse. In the end of it all, I came out stronger and this piece became a beautiful reflection of that.
